Tsitsipas Overcomes Early Deficit
Stefanos Tsitsipas found himself facing an uphill battle on Sunday at Roland Garros against Italian qualifier Matteo Arnaldi. Trailing 3-6 3-5, the ninth-seeded Tsitsipas rallied to secure a 3-6 7-64 6-2 6-2 6-2 victory and advance to the quarterfinals.
Arnaldi had previously stunned sixth seed Andrey Rublev in straight sets to reach the last 16, but Tsitsipas proved too strong in the end. The Greek star overcame an early deficit to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament.
